Goodbye 2013, it was good knowing you (although you seemed to go fast) and welcome 2014!
We had a big 2013, taking on major new clients across a range of industries including financial services, real estate, food retailing, fitness, personal services and others. The main drivers for these new clients looking for franchise management software were all the usual culprits… need for growth, need for organisation, need for reporting, need for management transparency, and as always, the need to get rid of those endless spreadsheets.
We released 3 new major modules last year, made improvements to almost every single existing module of the system, implemented over 7,000 code commits to the systems and undertook about 470 separate items of customisation to individual client sites. These software customisations really pleased us as it showed how much our clients buy into our vision of having franchise software that does exactly what you want… no work arounds, no exceptions.
So what does 2014 look like for FranchiZeManager?
In the next few weeks we will be releasing a brand new FZM Support Site. This site will have a knowledge-base of “How-to” articles, easy to search, easy to read, easy to share.
We’re very excited about new modules (and products) we have coming in the area of franchisee training. We have been busy working on a training and LMS module that will please many of our clients and we suspect will bring in a few more, helping to cement FZM as the most comprehensive franchise software available.
There’s increasing integration between FZM and our new customer feedback/experience product called “OK, Tell us”. If you don’t know about our replacement for franchisee mystery shopping then you can read about it here.
We also have improvements to a number modules going live in the coming months.
Of course behind the scenes we are working on security and speed improvements, both in our application and also in the infrastructure we use to deliver the system.
