How to Login 2 Accounts Simultaneously

When accessing FZM, please keep in mind that you can only log on to your account ONCE in a browser. If you have two Usernames and want to log in at the same time as both users then you MUST use a different browser.

This is in line with our Security rule… ONE User, ONE Login, ONE account.

So remember… you can use different browsers to log in using different FZM accounts, but on one browser, you can only log on to one account at a time.

Here is a sample scenario:

  1. You log in using the username Mary on Google Chrome.
  2. Then you open another Google Chrome window or tab, then log on to the new window or tab as Sally.

This will automatically log you out of the Mary account (you will get a “Session timeout”).

From this moment on all actions you take are on the Sally account.

This SAME rule applies whether you’re using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, or other browsers.

Workaround:

If you want to work on two or more accounts at the same time, there are two things you can do.

Method 1:

This method involves using different browsers for each account you are working on.

  1. Log on as Mary in Google Chrome.
  2. Log on as Sally  in Mozilla Firefox.
  3. Log on as John in Safari, and so on and so forth.

Make sure you keep track of which account is open on the different browsers to avoid any problems with the records you enter/edit later on.

Method 2:

This method involves using your preferred browser’s Incognito feature. This way, you can use ONE browser for entering data into different accounts.

  1. Open Google Chrome, then log on as Mary.
  2. Open an Incognito window or tab by pressing Ctrl-Shift-N, then log on as Sally on the opened Incognito window/tab.
  3. Open another Incognito window or tab by again pressing Ctrl-Shift-N, then log on as John.

You can open as many Incognito windows/tabs as you want. You can also use your preferred browser, though we do recommend using Google Chrome since it is the primary browser we used for development and testing.

Again, make sure that you keep track of which account is open on which window to avoid any problems later on.
